Hey there!

I'm Tzuyu Yang

I’m a Senior Product Designer with over 7 years of experience designing thoughtful, user-centered solutions across healthcare, government, and consumer tech. Born and raised in Taiwan, I’ve been based in the U.S. since 2013. My background in psychology sparked a deep interest in how people think, feel, and interact with digital products—a foundation that continues to guide my design approach today.

I bring a strategic yet empathetic lens to every project, combining research, systems thinking, and visual clarity to create intuitive and inclusive experiences. My strength lies in working through complexity—whether that’s redesigning enterprise tools for public sector users or scaling mobile apps in consumer spaces.

My Career so far

Currently, I lead design initiatives at Pantheon, where I’ve partnered with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on large-scale platforms like PSNet, MEPS, and QI Software. I’ve modernized outdated workflows, improved accessibility, and helped drive stakeholder buy-in within highly regulated environments. My role spans research, wireframing, prototyping, and strategic collaboration with product and engineering teams. On the side, I’ve worked with companies like Petplan, Talkspace, and Heed to bring early-stage ideas to life. One of my proudest moments was designing a mobile app and claims chatbot for Petplan that streamlined the user experience and reduced support calls—a true example of design making business and user impact.Whether it’s healthcare data or sports analytics, I love diving into new domains and finding clarity in complexity.
